TrackScore vs UpTrack: AI Mix Feedback Compared

By Michael Christopher

TL;DR: Both tools analyze electronic music. UpTrack is built around volume and the release pipeline: unlimited analyses for €49 a year, loudness checks for seven streaming platforms and matching your track to record labels. TrackScore.AI™ is built around the decision point: a zero-storage analysis with a Hit Potential score across five pillars, a written fix-first list from Klaus™ that you can question in Klaus™ Live, and Bounce Check to compare versions, paid per track or monthly.

UpTrack’s prices, limits and policies below are taken from its own site and were checked on October 7, 2026.

What UpTrack Is Built For

UpTrack calls itself AI A&R for electronic music. Its reports include an expert summary, ranked top priorities and written feedback for each category. Here is where it goes further than TrackScore.

Unlimited analyses for one price. €9 a month or €49 a year covers as many analyses as you want, on tracks of any length. If you bounce, check, fix and repeat several times a week, you never ration analyses, and that changes how you work.

Label matching. UpTrack matches a finished track against more than 700 electronic labels with verified demo contacts, by its own count, with the full results for subscribers. TrackScore stops at the mix: it tells you what to fix, not where to send it.

Streaming loudness checks. UpTrack checks your loudness against the targets of seven streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Beatport. TrackScore measures LUFS in every analysis and scores it within Mix Quality, but it does not show a platform-by-platform check. Our LUFS guide for electronic music covers the platform targets.

Five free analyses, plus free tools. New accounts get 5 free analyses with no card, enough to test it on several versions of a track. UpTrack also offers free browser tools with no signup, including a LUFS checker and BPM and key detectors.

What TrackScore Is Built For

TrackScore.AI™ is the check you run before the expensive, slow or irreversible step: paying a mastering engineer, sending a label demo or releasing the track.

A written diagnosis you can question. Klaus™, our AI audio engineer, writes up what is holding the track back in studio language and ranks what to fix first. After the analysis you can ask follow-up questions about your own track in Klaus™ Live, and the answers stay grounded in that track’s measurements.

Your audio is never stored. The file is streamed into server memory, analyzed and discarded. Nothing is written to disk and nothing is used for training. UpTrack also never trains on your music, but it keeps files for up to 7 days before deleting them. If unreleased material must not sit on anyone else’s server, that difference matters. More on how our zero-storage architecture works.

Bounce Check. Upload a new version of a track and TrackScore compares it with the previous one: score deltas per pillar and metric, which flagged issues were resolved, improved or regressed, and a prioritized list for the next bounce. One credit per check.

Genre targets across electronic music. Eleven scoring families cover house (deep, tech, jackin, funky/disco, melodic/progressive), techno (peak-time, minimal/deep), trance, drum & bass and bass music/dubstep, plus a general electronic profile, with 60 selectable genres and subgenres on top, each scored against its family’s targets.

Try it before you make an account. Your first TrackScore™ needs no signup and no card. Scores and charts appear without an account, about a minute after upload; a free account unlocks the full written feedback and adds a second free analysis. For catalogs and demo inboxes there is batch analysis on Pro and Studio and a documented API, now in early access.

What the Scores Mean

Hit Potential is not a prediction of chart success, streams or sales. It is a 0 to 100 score for production quality: a weighted composite of five scored pillars (Danceability, Mix Quality, Frequency Balance, Energy and Structure). Frequency balance and danceability are measured against targets for your track’s genre, several genres also carry their own loudness band inside Mix Quality, and the score maps to a standard A+ to F grade.

UpTrack describes its score as a technical release-readiness check. Despite the name, Hit Potential answers the same kind of question: how well the production holds up against targets for its genre. What sets them apart is what comes with the score: UpTrack adds platform loudness checks and label matches; TrackScore adds follow-up questions about your own track in Klaus™ Live and Bounce Check comparisons with your previous version.

How the Pricing Works

The two models suit different habits. Above roughly one or two tracks a month, UpTrack’s annual plan costs less; against its monthly plan, TrackScore’s Starter plan costs about the same for up to five analyses a month. If you check a handful of decisive bounces a year, TrackScore’s per-track price costs less, and pack credits never expire.

Who Should Use Which

Use UpTrack if

  • You analyze several versions a week and want unlimited analyses for one flat price
  • You want label suggestions and demo contacts for a finished track
  • You want a loudness check for each streaming platform
  • You want to try several tracks free before paying

Use TrackScore.AI™ if

  • You want a written diagnosis you can question about your own track before paying an engineer, sending a demo or releasing
  • Your audio must never be stored on anyone else’s server
  • You want to compare each new bounce with the last one using Bounce Check
  • You want to ask follow-up questions about your own track
  • You want to try it before creating an account

Using both is reasonable: UpTrack for unlimited iteration and label research, TrackScore for a zero-storage check you can question at the moment that costs money. TrackScore never masters or modifies your audio. For more options, see our roundup of free mix analysis tools and the TrackScore vs Mix Check Studio and TrackScore vs TrackSensei comparisons.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main difference between TrackScore and UpTrack?

Both score electronic music. UpTrack is built around unlimited analyses, loudness checks for seven streaming platforms and matching your track to record labels. TrackScore.AI is built around one decisive check: a zero-storage analysis with a Hit Potential score across five pillars, a written fix-first list from Klaus, follow-up questions about your track in Klaus Live and Bounce Check comparisons between versions.

Is UpTrack cheaper than TrackScore?

On UpTrack's annual plan, yes, once you analyze more than one or two tracks a month. UpTrack charges €49 a year or €9 a month for unlimited analyses. TrackScore charges $2.99 per analysis, $24.99 for a 10-pack, or $9.99 to $39.99 a month for 5 to 100 analyses, so it costs less when you check a handful of tracks a year, and about the same as UpTrack's monthly plan at five analyses a month.

Does Hit Potential predict whether my track will be a hit?

No. Hit Potential is not a prediction of chart success, streams or sales. It is a 0 to 100 score for production quality, built from five scored pillars (danceability, mix quality, frequency balance, energy and structure). Frequency balance and danceability are measured against targets for your track's genre, and several genres also carry their own loudness band inside mix quality.

Which tool keeps my audio?

TrackScore never writes your audio to disk: the file is analyzed in memory and discarded. UpTrack says it retains audio files for up to 7 days for processing and then deletes them automatically. Both say they never use your tracks to train AI models.

Can I try either tool for free?

Yes. Your first TrackScore analysis is free with no signup or card, and scores and charts appear without an account. A free account unlocks its full written feedback and adds a second free analysis. UpTrack gives you 5 free analyses when you sign up, with no card.

Does TrackScore match my track to record labels?

No. TrackScore analyzes the mix and tells you what to fix; it does not recommend labels or provide A&R contacts. UpTrack offers label matching against more than 700 electronic labels, by its own count, with the full results for subscribers.
